Frequently Asked Questions
What medium do you use?
I typically use ink pen for my works, but I also use acrylic paint on canvas which can include a variety of colors, but I still keep my simple color palette and clean-cut lines.
Do you sell originals?
For my ink-art I sell prints, as for my paintings I sell prints and may sell originals but at a much higher price. Not all my work is available for original sales.
Do you do commissions?
Yes, I am open to commissions, as long as they are in my signature style! Just fill out the contact form with your requests (subject to approval), so we can discuss what you would like featured. We can also better make adjustments during the development process, to make sure you are happy with your art!
Why are the Lampheads black and white?
The black and white is a representation of the lack of nuance in the Lampheads. Lampheads are black and white in a world of color; without insight, they are unable to see the nuances of the world.
Why lampshades though? Why not just a bandage for their eyes?
The lampshade is a representation of light, a symbol of good. The light may also blind them from the complexity of life and that not all things are just one way or another. Also the idea of lampshades on people’s heads just seems more interesting to me.
How long is the shipping process?
Items are shipped within 2 - 3 weeks from the date of order.
Whats the difference between Rolled and Stretched Canvas?
- When choosing the Rolled option, keep in mind this does not include the print to be stretched, mounted, or framed.
- When choosing the Stretched option, keep in mind this print is ready to be hung, but it does not include a frame.
